About the Role:

As a Lecturer in Film, TV, and Media Studies, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and futures of aspiring filmmakers, media producers, and communication professionals. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging modules, fostering creativity, and equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the dynamic media landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver innovative module content across the BSc Hons Creative Media Programme, aligned with UK academic standards and industry best practices.
• Supervise student projects, offering constructive feedback and guidance to nurture their talent and potential.
• Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the program, ensuring it remains relevant and future-focused.
• Engage in scholarly activities, research, and professional development to stay at the forefront of the field.

Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Film, TV, and Media Studies or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at university level, preferably in a similar program.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and workshops.
• Hands-on experience in film production, including documentaries, dramas, and podcasting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A passion for teaching, mentorship, and nurturing creative talent.

• Strong expertise in one or more areas of Cyber Security, such as network security, digital forensics, cloud security, or information assurance.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to engage students in active learning and facilitate critical thinking.
• Professional certifications in Cyber Security, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+, are highly desirable.
