STUDY AT BATH SPA UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC CENTRE RAK
Bath Spa University (BSU) opens its admission every September. To join Bath
Spa University
Academic Centre, Ras Al Khaimah, you can start the process in June to ensure that you can
complete all the requirements on time. We recommend that you start your application process at
least three months in advance.
Before you come to the UAE to study at Bath Spa University Academic Centre RAK, you will need to
follow specific procedures.
The below information will help you as part of your application at the Academic Centre, RAK. We
want you to feel part of the university family, and we are here to offer advice and
guidance to study internationally with us.
Requirements
International students are eligible to be admitted to Bath Spa University every September. Applicants must have the below documents and provide them to Bath Spa University Academic Centre RAK’s admissions department.
- Education Documents (Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate or Equivalent)
- Valid Passport Copy
- Emirates ID copy (if any)
- Passport size photo (2 pics), with white background
Submit the following soft copy to admissions@bathspa.ae
It is required to submit officially attested education certificates (including transcripts) to the Office of Admissions. Students need to submit the documents before the beginning of the semester. Students whose credentials are from outside of the UAE may be given an extension until the end of the first semester. Bath Spa University Academic Centre RAK will also arrange Student Visas under the university’s sponsorship, which is renewable every year.
The visa application requires:
- Eight (8) passport photos
- Passport copy
- All Education documents (Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate, or equivalent)
- Payment and security deposit for the visa
- Payment of at least 1-semester fee
- All students applying for a residence visa must undergo medical tests conducted by the preventive health department of the RAK government and fingerprinting by the police department. The medical tests include a blood test and an X-ray. Failure to pass either one of the medical tests leads to deportation to the country of origin.

A student can transfer to our UK-based campus to continue their studies subject to terms and conditions. UK fee structure is different from our RAK Campus. Visit Bath Spa University UK website to see their International students fee details.
