BSU AC RAK Campus Ready to Welcome Academic Year 2022-2023

In preparation for the forthcoming academic year 2022-2023, Bath Spa University Academic Centre RAK held a faculty and staff orientation on the 10th of August 2022.

Dr. Muhammad Nawas Brohi, BSU AC RAK Campus Director, opened the program by introducing the University’s expectations and overall goals. He also challenged everyone as members of the BSU family to take part in realizing the University’s plans, which include professional development and research. Next, Mr. Saqib Bhatti, Head of Academics, presented the organizational structure, employment policies, and procedures. Finally, Ms. Eleanor Carino, Head of Finance, delivered the guidelines related to salary and benefits in conjunction with the UAE Ministry of Labor.

BSU AC RAK Senior Vice President Dr. Nino Decenorio also gave a picture of the University’s student population and how it grew exponentially in terms of enrollees. He accentuated the importance of understanding the university system by heart. He added that each team member is the University’s ambassador and walking advertiser. 

Towards the end of the event, Mr. Raja Sajjad Hussain, BSU AC RAK CEO, recounted the University’s humble beginnings from a small team to eventually building up a bigger family. He thanked the pioneering faculty and staff who braced with the University during its lowest point. He ended his message with the assurance, “If the university is growing, we are all growing.”
