Faculty & Staff Convene for Crucial Updates & Strategic Direction Setting
BSU RAK Seminar hall was brimming with excitement on Thursday, 31st August, as faculty and staff from the different departments gathered together for the Employees’ Assembly. The event, which unified the academic community, was marked by comprehensive agenda that are pivotal for the forthcoming academic year.
Morning:

Dr. Nino Decenorio, Senior Vice President, further invigorated the hall with his spirited chant, “BSU, The Best!” as he proceeded to present a comprehensive university report. Dr. Nino gave a glimpse of the university’s accomplishments ranging from student growth, media, quality assurance, academics, research, and community engagements. He also stressed on the priority programmes for the next academic year and placed great emphasis on the university’s direction. Adding enthusiasm in his agenda, is the priority construction of BSU RAK’s new campus. Concluding his report, Dr. Nino emphasised the importance of embracing change and being stewards of unmatch hospitality among the staff.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Raja Sajjad Hussain, CEO, expressed his gratitude to all the faculty and staff who attended the assembly. He also remarked about the university’s humble beginnings, from a population of only 32 students to a burgeoning number of almost one and a half thousand students. Mr. Sajjad conveyed his high hopes for a more collaborative and engaging academic year ahead. Invoking the blessings of the Almighty, he also prayed for each and every staff member of the university, that they may be strengthened in their respective roles and be further motivated to serve the community of students and parents — its most valued stakeholders.
