Pakistan’s Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi Visits BSU RAK

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi visited Bath Spa University, Ras Al Khaimah on 15th November 2023. His Excellency was warmly received by Dr. Raja Sajjad Hussain, CEO of Bath Spa University RAK, Dr. M N Brohi, Campus Director, and esteemed faculty members.
During his interaction with the students, Ambassador Tirmizi delved into the deep-rooted historic ties between Pakistan and the UAE, highlighting shared faith, history, and people-to-people connections. He also expressed a keen interest in Pakistan’s tourism potential and cultural diversity, “Pakistan is a land of varied landscapes, from deserts, seas in the south, to highest peaks in the northern region. These changing landscapes provide cultural diversity, a different language and a different cuisine to visitors,” he added.
Ambassador Tirmizi urged students to visit Pakistan with their families and friends, and experience the beauty and hospitality of the country.
Concluding his visit, the ambassador was given a tour of the campus, allowing him to experience the academic environment and student facilities. He commended Bath Spa University for delivering quality education to students worldwide and promoting cultural exchanges between nations. Ambassador Tirmizi also emphasised enhancing collaborations to mutually benefit students and the academic community.
