Below are the key academic support services available to all our students, with details on how to access them and who to contact.
Navigating your university journey can sometimes be challenging, but our academic advisors are here to help. Each student is assigned an academic advisor who can assist with:
- Course selection and academic planning
- Degree progress tracking and study strategies
- Addressing academic challenges and improving performance
In addition, tutoring support is available for students who need extra help in specific subjects. Tutors provide guidance on difficult concepts, exam preparation, and coursework improvement.
How to Access This Service:
- Students can book an appointment with an academic advisor via the Student Affairs Office.
- Walk-in sessions are available during office hours.

Our Plagiarism & Referencing Support Services Include:
- Cite Them Right Online – A comprehensive guide for referencing in various citation styles (APA, Harvard, MLA, etc.).
- Turnitin – A plagiarism detection tool integrated into your coursework submission.
- Workshops on Referencing & Academic Integrity – Regular sessions covering APA, Harvard, MLA, and other referencing styles.
How to Access This Service:
- Log in to Blackboard Ultra to access Turnitin within your module shell.
- Go to the ‘Assessments’ section and upload your assignment using the Turnitin link to check for plagiarism.
- Use Cite Them Right Online for guidance on referencing.
- Attend plagiarism and referencing workshops conducted by the Library and Learning Resources Team.
- For technical support or database access issues, contact the library staff.

We believe in continuous improvement through student feedback. To enhance the quality of education and campus experience, we conduct student feedback surveys twice a year and ensure student representation at the SSLC (Staff-Student Liaison Committee).
- Student Feedback Surveys – Conducted twice a year to gather insights on academics, facilities, and student services.
- SSLC Meetings – Student representatives sit on the Staff-Student Liaison Committee to raise campus-related issues.
- Actionable Improvement Plans – Student feedback is used to implement meaningful improvements.
